April 2022: Full moon in Libra
Tarot spread, journaling questions, an astro-tarot forecast and an exploration of the the Sabian symbol for this full moon.
The April 2022 full moon falls in the sign of Libra. The Libra archetype is closely associated with justice and maintaining balance in social interactions and within the self. They are the true diplomats among the zodiac archetypes, and focus on fair dealings in all their relationships.
Spiritually, the Libra archetype teaches the principle of intimate balance, of the ability to remain centered and true to yourself no matter what may be going on around you.
This full moon also highlights our search for meaning and our quest to gain deeper clarity on own personal truth. This is something that’s come into ever sharper focus since 2020. While the pandemic forced many of us to reevaluate the people and things we give our attention to, the recalibration process is often slow and incremental.
This is also the last of the moon cycles before eclipse season hits, making it an opportune time to spend some time in reflection, fine tuning anything you wish to call in, any patterns you wish to break, and anything you wish to release in preparation for eclipse season, beginning with the solar eclipse at the end of the month.
To throw some more light on the astrology of the full moon in Libra, let’s take a look at the astro-tarot influences of this lunation. The full moon falls in decan 3, which is represented by the 4 of Swords. This is to be interpreted in conjunction with Justice, which is associated with Libra.
