August 2023: Full blue moon in Pisces
Tarot spread, journaling questions, an astro-tarot forecast and an exploration of the the Sabian symbol for this full moon.
A quick little announcement before we get into this month’s tarot spread:
I have a new class! This one is for my fellow art lovers and journaling enthusiasts — a new, easy book binding class called The Unbound Journal.
You’ll find more details on the class at the end of this email, or just click on that link above and check out the course. I’d love to have some of you join me!
The August 2023 full blue moon falls in the sign of Pisces and highlights our fears and the ways in which they hold us back from achieving our bold and beautiful goals. Once we understand the ways in which we allow fear to control us, we can take more strategic action to move towards our goals. It would be helpful to carve out some time for stillness and reflection, to see how you can improve your inner world — your mental chatter, any old beliefs or patterns that are holding you back or preventing you from seeing what is working.
This blue moon is also a good time to focus on taking better care of our health — fitness, eating well, scheduling any overdue health checks, are all encouraged during this lunation.
To throw some more light on the August full moon astrology, let’s take a look at the astro-tarot influences of this lunation. The Pisces full moon falls in decan 1, which is represented by the 8 of Cups. This is to be interpreted in conjunction with The Moon, which is associated with Pisces.
You’ll find the full astro-tarot forecast, tarot spread and journaling questions, as well as an exploration of the Sabian Symbol on the website.
Thank you for making these tarot spreads a part of your new and full moon rituals! Creating these each month is a labor of love, and your support keeps me going. Please support this offering by sharing it with your like-minded friends, and inviting them to subscribe to this newsletter too.
