March 2022: Virgo full moon
Tarot spread, journaling questions, an astro-tarot forecast and an exploration of the the Sabian symbol, as well as some resources for this full moon.
The March 2022 full moon falls in the sign of Virgo. The Virgo archetype is logical and practical, with an eye for detail and the steadfastness to go after their goals. This is a sign that thrives on meticulous planning, on honing skills to perfection and gaining mastery over their chosen vocation.
This March 2022 full moon also highlights the ways in which we communicate — be that with our loved ones, our wider communities, or ourselves. It also illuminates the the power of owning your voice, which isn’t always easy. There’s a lot of anxiety that it can bring up, around how we are perceived; how our words translate; and what people may think of us. It can lead to fears of being “found out” or ostracized – neither of which is a rational fear.
There is also the power of our internal voice: the inner critic, ideas of perfectionism, all the ‘musts’ and ‘shoulds’ that rattle around in our heads. This full moon invites us to examine how often our mental chatter holds us back, and to question the ‘shoulds’ and ‘musts’ that govern our lives.
To throw some more light on the astrology of the Virgo full moon, let’s take a look at the astro-tarot influences of this lunation. This full moon falls in decan 3, which is represented by the 10 of Pentacles. This is to be interpreted in conjunction with The Hermit, which is associated with Virgo.
