November 2021: New moon in Scorpio
Tarot spread, journaling questions, an astro-tarot forecast and an exploration of the the Sabian symbol, as well as some resources for this new moon.
For all my art enthusiasts, I have some exciting news! I’m teaching on Book of Days 2022! This year-long mixed media art journaling course is hosted by my mentor, Effy Wild, and I couldn’t be more excited to have been invited to teach on the course! After all, my own art journey started with an earlier version of this very course, and Effy has been instrumental in my own art journey.
More details below, or click here and check out the course!
The November 2021 new moon falls in the sign of Scorpio. The Scorpio archetype is known for its intense power and its ability to transform, much like the butterfly emerging from its cocoon, ready to fly.
This new moon is also ripe to help you usher in a cycle of change. Think about any areas in your life that you need to transform and set your intentions for this cycle accordingly. Working with this new moon — using tarot, journaling, art, meditation, or any other ritual — will be particularly helpful.
To throw some more light on the November new moon astrology, let’s take a look at the astro-tarot influences of this lunation. The Scorpio new moon falls in Decan 2, which is ruled by the 6 of Cups. This is to be seen in conjunction with Death, which is associated with Scorpio.
This month’s new moon write-up + tarot spread also has a bunch of additional resources that can support you on the various areas that this new moon highlights. Scroll all the way to end for resources on moving into fear, tapping into your inner wisdom, and an expressive arts exercise to deal with overwhelm. I hope that you find these resources supportive - do let me know either by leaving a comment on the post itself, or by replying to this email! xx
